Biotoop:

Komt voor in bossen en langs heggen. Is vrij algemeen maar alleen omdat hij verwilderd is vanuit tuinen waar hij als sierplant dient. In voornamelijk het oosten van Duitsland is hij zeldzaam in het wild en daarom ook beschermd.

Bloeitijd:

Bloeit van februari tot april.

Bijzonderheden:

Wordt tot 15 cm hoog. Dit bolgewas behoort tot de narcisachtigen.

213. Snowdrop (Galanthus nivalis):

Habitat:

Resides in forests and along hedges. Is fairly common but only because it has invaded nature from gardens where it is a decorative plant. In, predominantly the east of Germany, it is rare and therefore protected by law.

Flowers from februari till april

Peculiarities:

Can grow upto 15 cm in hight. This bolbous plant is a member of the amaryllis family.
