Biotoop:

Komt voor op zilte grond, in moerassen en bij zee. Plaatselijk algemeen.

Bloeitijd:

Bloeit van mei tot september. Bloemen wit of roze.

Bijzonderheden:

Kan 5 tot 25 cm hoog worden. De stengels liggen op de grond en groeien aan de top omhoog.
